Summer Body Protein Smoothie
I can't imagine life without ripe bananas! Seriously how can some people dislike them? If you're one of those you'll definitely hate this recipe which calls for oats, bananas, and almond milk. It's the perfect smoothie for those days when you're feeling lazy but still want to keep it healthy.
Here's what you'll need.
1 medium banana, frozen and cut into chunks
1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
3 tablespoons oats (gluten-free if desired that means that they shouldn't be processed in a facility where other Gluten containing grains are processed.)
1 teaspoon vanilla (Link Here)
1 tablespoon natural almond butter (optional)
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1/4 cup of water
1/4 cup of ice
Blend everything for 30-60 seconds. Serve immediately and enjoy.
